As a Machine Operator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our rotary machines, producing high-quality packaging solutions for a diverse range of industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Direct a Small Crew: Supervise and direct a small team of assistants and material handlers to ensure seamless production and quality control.
  • Set Up Jobs and Interpret Specifications: Set up jobs according to general specifications, interpret blueprints and specs to ensure quality meets customer satisfaction, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with Management and Maintenance: Work closely with management and maintenance teams to identify and resolve roadblocks to success, ensuring optimal production and quality.
  • Communicate Effectively: Maintain a positive, cooperative attitude toward customers, co-workers, subordinates, and management, and communicate effectively to ensure seamless production and quality control.
  • Perform Quality Checks and Maintenance: Perform ongoing quality checks to ensure product meets quality standards, and perform preventative maintenance to ensure equipment and work areas are clean and orderly.
  • Operate Die Cutting Equipment: Operate die cutting equipment in accordance with job orders and operating procedures, and report any issues with tooling to supervisor.
  • Meet Production Goals: Perform job within established standards, meet or exceed established machine set-up/run rate goals, and perform other related duties as requested by supervision/management.
Physical Requirements
  • Standing and Walking: Ability to stand for 8-10 hours a day and walk, bend, push, pull, and reach on a constant and/or frequent basis.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds on a constant and/or frequent basis.
Job Qualifications
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in the corrugated industry operating rotary machines is preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize work tasks and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively on all levels and possess good interpersonal skills.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Basic computer skills required.
