About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team at Community Dental Partners. As a key member of our clinical team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dentists during treatments, exams, and treatment discussions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and prepare patients for exams, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Complete digital charting and verify codes with precision to maintain accurate patient records.
  • Capture high-quality x-ray images to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
  • Assist dentists with various treatment procedures, including setting up and sterilizing exam and treatment rooms.
  • Discuss treatment options, importance, and follow-up recommended care with patients and their families.
  • Provide teeth polishing and sealant placement procedures (with required certifications).
  • Support patient treatment appointment scheduling as requested.
  • Sterilize instruments and follow cross-contamination standards to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Create positive and uplifting patient environments through patient engagement before, during, and after visits.
  • Guide parents and patients through post-care instructions and provide support as needed.
  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA guidelines to protect patient confidentiality.
