Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team at Ponderosa Elementary School. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our students during the school lunch period.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise students during lunchtime and maintain order in cafeterias and other assigned areas.
  • Assist students in observing lunchtime and playground courtesies and rules of safety.
  • Under the supervision of a principal, maintain the safety of students participating in play and ensure the cleanliness of play areas.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of successful techniques relating to children's needs and interests at different age levels.
  • Ability to deal effectively with large groups of children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Working Conditions

This is a part-time position, working Monday to Friday, 2 hours a day, from 11:15am to 1:15pm (tentative schedule). The successful candidate must be willing to undergo FBI and DOJ clearance and provide TB test results.
