Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telemetry Technician to join our team at Mountainside/Hackensack. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurate record keeping, observing monitors, and promptly reporting cardiac rhythm changes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurate record keeping and observation of monitors
  • Prompt reporting of cardiac rhythm changes
  • Effective communication with medical professionals
  • Performing Unit Secretary duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Certificate program or associate degree in a related field
  • Completion of Telemetry Training
  • Accredited program in cardiovascular technology
  • One year of related work experience
Certifications
  • BLS Certification
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions from cardiologists and other medical professionals
  • Effective communication skills to explain cardiovascular procedures simply and clearly
  • Pleasant bedside manner
