We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Occam Solutions. As a Data Scientist, you will play a key role in formulating and leading guided, multifaceted analytic studies against large volumes of data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Analysis and Interpretation: Interpret and analyze data using exploratory mathematical and statistical techniques based on the scientific method.
  • Research and Analytics: Coordinate research and analytic activities utilizing various data points (unstructured and structured) and employ programming to clean, massage, and organize the data.
  • Experimentation and Solution Development: Experiment against data points, provide information based on experiment results, and provide previously undiscovered solutions to command data challenges.
  • Leadership and Collaboration: Lead all data experiments and coordinate with Data Engineers to build Data environments providing data identified by Data Analysts, Data Integrators, Knowledge Managers, and Intel Analysts.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Education: Master's degree or bachelor's degree in data science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Computer Science, or related fields.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Python and demonstrated experience applying data science methods to real-world data problems.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience developing and deploying AI/ML in support of decision making and current DoD secret clearance.
