Position Summary:
Deliver comprehensive neuropsychological assessments and consultations, which encompass clinical interviews, administration, scoring, and interpretation of psychological tests, along with feedback provision and report generation. Ensure compliance with institutional and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care responsibilities may span across neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.

Key Responsibilities:
* PATIENT CARE - Conduct neuropsychological assessments and consultations, including clinical interviews, test administration, scoring, interpretation of results, feedback provision, and report preparation.
* QUALITY ASSURANCE - Ensure that psychological services meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and policy guidelines.
* COLLABORATION - Act as a liaison for designated areas; coordinate activities in partnership with other professionals, divisions, departments, and organizations; may lead steering committees.
* REPORT MANAGEMENT - Prepare and maintain various reports; analyze and interpret data as necessary; prepare, present, and disseminate information to professional groups and organizations.
* PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT - Attend and engage in professional meetings; remain informed about emerging trends and innovations in the field.
* TRAINING - Organize and conduct training sessions for personnel as needed; may oversee junior staff.
* PATIENT SAFETY - Adhere to patient safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
* PROACTIVE SAFETY - Take initiative to enhance patient safety by questioning existing policies and processes.
* ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY - Identify and report any environmental conditions that may pose risks to patients.
* INCIDENT REPORTING - Timely report any potential or actual patient safety concerns, medical errors, or near misses.
* PATIENT ENGAGEMENT - Encourage patients to actively participate in their care by asking questions and voicing concerns about their treatment.

Specialization:

* APA accredited program in Psychology, Neuropsychology, or related fields.

Experience:

Documented experience in age-appropriate settings.

Nonessential:
No preferred experience.

Credentials:
Essential:
* Licensed Psychologist in the State of New Mexico.
* CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuers within 30 days.

Physical Requirements:
Sedentary Work: Involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work typically involves sitting most of the time, with occasional walking or standing.
