Gpac, a reputable search firm, is partnering with a leading commercial building enclosure company to find a talented CAD Drafter for their team. This opportunity is ideal for an individual with a passion for the facade industry and strong AutoCAD skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing architectural drawings and specifications, preparing shop drawings for architects' approval and fabrication using AutoCAD, and coordinating details with architects and general contractors. Additionally, they will draft and detail wall panels, curtain wall trims, and specialty items such as aluminum screens and sunshades.
Requirements:- 3+ years of experience in composite panel, facade, or curtain wall drafting
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Construction background
- Strong communication and math skills
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and organization
- Experience with aluminum composite material (ACM panel)
- Ability to create shop drawings
- Background in building design
