The Apicha Community Health Center is seeking a motivated Public Health Outreach Specialist to join our team. This role will involve working with young men of color who have sex with men to provide education, support, and access to health services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing outreach strategies to reach high-risk populations and promoting health equity in our communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement outreach strategies to reach high-risk populations
  • Provide education and support services to clients, including HIV testing and linkage to care
  • Collaborate with community partners to promote health equity and address social determinants of health
  • Work closely with the program manager to develop and implement program goals and objectives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as public health or social work
  • At least one year of experience working in HIV prevention or a related field
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience
