Job Summary:

UCHealth is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch patient care in the operating room. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient environment, and collaborating with the surgical team to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in the operating room, utilizing the nursing process to ensure the highest level of care.
Collaborate with the surgical team to achieve exceptional outcomes, prioritizing wellness, patient perspective, and evidence-based practice.
Model proficiency through precepting new team members and contributing to a culture of excellence.
Stay up-to-date with the latest AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certifications standards, incorporating them into evidence-based care models.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required; Surgical Tech experience or graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech program preferred.
State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration required.
BLS through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification required.
