Job Title: Lead Concierge

About the Role:

The Lead Concierge is a key member of our team at Kensington Senior Living, LLC, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our reception area. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and maintain efficient processes for the reception area, including logbooks, mail management, and communication with residents and team members.
  2. Greet visitors and residents in a prompt and courteous manner, determining the purpose of their visit and contacting the appropriate person as needed.
  3. Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls, taking and distributing messages accurately and promptly.
  4. Process mail and packages, notify recipients of receipt, and assist residents and team members with outbound packages and express mail.
  5. Coordinate transportation requests and follow up to ensure timely fulfillment.
  6. Develop knowledge of emergency procedures and alarm systems, serving as the point of contact during emergency situations.
  7. Document and distribute work requests from residents and team members, following up to ensure timely responses.
  8. Maintain accurate contact information for residents, team members, local attractions, and emergency organizations.
  9. Assist the Business Office Manager with administrative tasks, including coding invoices, filing, and monitoring office equipment.
  10. Participate in training courses and professional development activities as required.

Requirements:

  1. Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  2. Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
  3. Proficiency in computer software, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Property Management Systems.
  4. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
  5. High school diploma required; college education strongly preferred.
  6. Ability to handle stressful situations while maintaining a calm and efficient demeanor.
  7. Good physical health, with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift objects up to 25 pounds.
