Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Admissions Coordinator to manage and streamline the admissions process within our organization. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth transition for new residents into our facility.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Senior Admissions Coordinator to oversee all admissions activities.
  • Evaluate potential residents to determine suitability for our facility.
  • Serve as the primary contact for hospital discharge planners and social services.
  • Ensure the accurate completion of all admission-related documentation, including agreements and benefit assignments.
  • Educate patients and their families about our facility's policies, procedures, and resident rights.
  • Stay informed about relevant federal and state regulations affecting the admissions process.
  • Respond to inquiries via phone and email regarding program offerings and bed availability.
  • Maintain effective communication with our referral network.
  • Conduct facility tours for prospective residents, families, and representatives from placement agencies.
  • Verify insurance coverage prior to admission, confirming both primary and secondary payment sources.

This position is full-time, operating Monday through Friday, with a competitive base salary ranging from $21 to $25 per hour.
