Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and manage heavy machinery effectively.
- Ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of equipment.
- Conduct thorough pre-operation and post-operation safety inspections.
- Adhere to all traffic regulations while operating company vehicles.
- Utilize loaders, excavators, and dozers for material handling and grading tasks.
- Experience with hydraulic shears, screeners, and hoe-rams is preferred.
- Safely maintain and operate various heavy construction and demolition machinery, including dozers, excavators, backhoes, loaders, rollers/compactors, trenchers, and trucks.
- Safely operate forklifts and make necessary adjustments to equipment.
- Perform additional field-related tasks as directed by the superintendent or foreman.
Qualifications: A valid Operator's License is required. Candidates should possess a clean driving record and preferably have five years of experience in general civil construction. A High School Diploma or equivalent is necessary. This role may involve assisting other skilled tradespeople.
Additional Requirements:
- CTI is committed to maintaining a Drug-Free Workplace; candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
- A valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Candidates must be capable of navigating construction sites physically.
- Ability to lift and carry weights up to 80 pounds is essential.
