Network Defense Analyst

Tactical Air Support is a leading aerospace company seeking an experienced Information System Security Officer to join our team.

Salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year

Location: Reno, NV

• Assist in the development and implementation of our information security program.
• Monitor system health and performance, troubleshoot issues, and resolve trouble tickets in a timely manner.
• Perform regular system backups, disaster recovery, and data restores to prevent data loss.
• Administer security tools, patches, and anti-malware solutions to protect against cyber threats.
• Manage user access controls to ensure that access privileges align with roles and responsibilities.
• Deliver security awareness training to employees to educate them on information security best practices.
• Support our CMMC 2.0 program Level 2 certification effort to ensure compliance with relevant security standards.
• Investigate and resolve security incidents, taking appropriate actions to mitigate risks and prevent future occurrences.
• Maintain accurate records of security-related activities and prepare reports to measure the effectiveness of security measures.

• Demonstrated experience with security monitoring, assessment, and auditing methodologies.
• High school diploma (GED) or equivalent with 3+ years of experience in systems administration or systems security role.
• CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or CASP+ certification.
• Background and experience in security audits and assessments, risk management, incident response, security documentation, security monitoring, and reporting.
• Ability to assist with information security risk and control matters throughout the organization and promote efficient risk management.
• Ability to handle classified or protected information and materials, manage files, and maintain records in compliance with standard recordkeeping practices.
• Valid state driver's license and U.S. Citizenship with Active and Current DoD Secret security clearance.
