Routing Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Routing Coordinator to join our team at Second Nature. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our route planning and ensuring timely service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and schedule daily routing of technicians to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Analyze and optimize routing plans to minimize costs and improve service levels.
  • Communicate with management to resolve any routing issues or delays.
  • Maintain accurate records of routing schedules and changes, and communicate to the leadership team daily.
  • Utilize routing software and tools to streamline the routing process and improve accuracy.
  • Evaluate and report on routing performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in developing strategies to enhance routing efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide training and support to new team members on routing procedures and best practices.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of routing software and GPS systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including occasional evenings, and weekends if required.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive hourly rate of $19 - $25 depending on experience.
  • Full-time hourly position with a 40-hour schedule (5 x 8-hour days).
