Position Summary
The Coffee Specialist is tasked with delivering exceptional service while providing a personalized experience for each patron. This role involves educating customers about our selection of premium beverages and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. The Coffee Specialist also undertakes various responsibilities to uphold the professional image of the coffee bar.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest quality and consistency in product offerings.
- Adhere to all company beverage recipes and operational procedures.
- Gain knowledge of coffee and tea origins, including flavor profiles and blends.
- Skillfully prepare blended and cold beverages as per store standards.
- Welcome every customer with prompt, friendly service and build rapport by remembering their names and preferred items.
- Accurately take and repeat customer orders in a courteous manner.
- Report any customer concerns to the supervising manager.
- Proactively address potential customer service issues.
- Maintain a high standard of efficient and friendly service.
Essential Skills
- Entry-level position.
- Foster a positive work environment and maintain professionalism.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- Organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to stand, walk, talk, and hear regularly.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Availability for a flexible morning schedule, including some weekends.
