Key Responsibilities:

  • Observe and secure premises to deter theft, violence, or violations of regulations.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of doors, windows, and gates to ensure optimal security and functionality.
  • Alert individuals to any breaches of facility rules and guidelines.
  • Document and report any safety concerns, including fire hazards and plumbing issues.
  • Summon emergency services in critical situations.
Qualifications:
  • Preferred candidates will possess a valid Virginia DCJS License (Training may be provided if other criteria are met).
  • While a minimum of 2 years of security experience is preferred, entry-level roles are also available.
  • Must meet physical demands, including standing, walking, climbing stairs, running, physically restraining individuals if necessary, and lifting items up to 50 lbs.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Certification in First Aid and CPR/AED is required.
