About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Municipal Staff Engineer II to join our dynamic team in Newark, Ohio. As a key member of our civil engineering consulting team, you will assist project managers with technical design and perform engineering work associated with municipal and transportation clients.

This position involves:

  • Assisting project managers with technical design and civil engineering projects
  • Performing technical engineering work for municipal and transportation clients, including roadway design, multimodal design, stormwater management, and utility design
  • Attending meetings with municipal officials, engineers, developers, and contractors
  • Supporting technical report writing and effective communication with team members and clients
  • Collaborating with contractors during construction

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
  • 2-4 years of experience in civil engineering consulting
  • Proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D or Bentley Geopak/Openroads required
  • Familiarity with stormwater modeling software is a plus
  • Candidate must be able to pass a background check and drug test
