Job Summary

The Housekeeping Specialist is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in assigned areas. This includes performing tasks such as vacuuming, wet mopping, and spot cleaning, as well as proper disposal of trash and waste.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepares areas for upcoming move-ins by ensuring they are clean and ready for occupancy.
  • Monitors and maintains supplies and equipment, notifying the Maintenance Supervisor when low on materials.
  • Follows all applicable safety procedures, policies, and manufacturer instructions to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Uses proper aseptic techniques and safety precautions when performing all unit duties.
  • Maintains a safe, clean environment with necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Communicates effectively with residents, families, and coworkers, maintaining a courteous and professional manner.
Requirements
  • One or more years of multifamily housekeeping experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, preferable.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills via all communication channels.
  • Familiarity with general and departmental safety requirements.
  • Ability to lift tools, equipment, and other items in the unit (approximately 30 lbs).
  • Must be able to climb on and off ladders.
