Position Overview: As an Optical Consultant at AEG Vision, your primary role will be to deliver outstanding customer service while guiding clients in choosing their ideal eyewear solutions. Your keen eye for detail and excellent interpersonal skills will play a crucial role in ensuring client satisfaction and fostering loyalty.

• Provides personalized experiences for each client, thoroughly explaining tailored recommendations.
• Builds a dedicated clientele through exceptional service and positive referrals.
• Remains informed about the latest industry products and practices, including promotions and lens/frame selections.
• Engages with clients regarding the status of their orders and promptly addresses any concerns.
• Assists clients in selecting frames and lenses that cater to their unique requirements and facial dimensions.
• Informs clients about proper eyewear care and maintenance techniques.
• Interprets optical prescriptions and prepares work orders for laboratory technicians.
• Examines and dispenses eyewear, ensuring optimal fit and comfort.
• Maintains a clean and organized environment in display areas and workspaces.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma
• Preferred: At least one year of experience in the optical field
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
• Strong organizational and communication abilities
• Customer service experience and sales background preferred
• Manual dexterity and meticulous attention to detail
• Capability to lift up to 30lbs and stand for prolonged periods
