Perinatal Sonographer

The Deaconess team is seeking a skilled Perinatal Sonographer to join our Radiology department. As a Perinatal Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform quality, diagnostic exams according to protocols established by Perinatologist/Radiologists.
- Properly coordinate patient medical history and physical conditions with requested exam.
- Accurately document findings for interpreting physician.
- Accurately enter exam information into Viewpoint and PACS.
- Perform EKG's and demonstrate knowledge of transmission and when/how to contact Cardiologist for routine and STAT orders.
- Graduate of an accredited school of ultrasound.
- ARDMS or be ARDMS registry eligible for SPI and OB/GYN within 3 months of hire.
- Job training with Tri-State Perinatology is required.
- BLS is required within 6 months of hire.
