Client Service Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and personable Client Service Representative to join our team at VCA East Islip Animal Hospitals.
As the face of our practice, the Client Service Representative sets the tone for exceptional customer service, building and maintaining trust and confidence with our clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting visitors, answering telephones, and guiding clients and their pets to exam rooms.
- Schedule and confirm appointments, utilizing excellent computer skills.
- Place outbound calls for follow-ups and reach out to prospective clients.
- Present and explain fees, including processing payments.
- Recommend, select, and obtain products and services, including prescriptions.
- Answer questions regarding products and services, educating clients on general animal husbandry and non-medical pet care.
- Manage medical records, charts, reports, and correspondence, handling money accurately.
- Keep clients informed of expected waiting time and provide solutions for complaints with concern and diplomacy.
- Perform hospital maintenance, ensuring the facility is neat and clean at all times.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and adapting to stress.
- Ability to work long or irregular hours, including lifting 40 pounds.
- Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a minimum 8-hour workday.
