Annuity Sales Professional

As an Intermediate Retirement Income Specialist at USAA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial security of our membership by assessing their current retirement income needs, providing expert advice, and making tailored recommendations based on their individual circumstances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and respond to requests for advice from current and prospective members, utilizing your exceptional communication skills to understand their needs and goals.
- Conduct thorough assessments of members' financial situations, identifying key information and retirement events that impact their retirement income plans.
- Develop and implement effective retirement income strategies, leveraging your knowledge of annuities and other financial products to create customized solutions.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues and escalate concerns as needed, ensuring seamless service delivery to our members.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest retirement strategy research, legislative initiatives, and industry trends, applying this knowledge to inform your advice and recommendations.
Requirements:
- Active Group 1 Life & Health license
- Active, in good standing, and maintained FINRA 7 license
- Active, in good standing, and maintained FINRA Series 66 (or 63 & 65) license
- 1 year of financial industry and/or sales experience
- Experience delivering frequent written and oral communication
- Experience processing and analyzing information
- Experience fulfilling requests and meeting deadlines
- Experience resolving conflict and negotiating
- Experience multi-tasking in an operating systems environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of direct Annuity Sales Experience
- Experience Working in an Inbound/Outbound Call Center
- Retirement Income Certified Professional Designation (RICP)
- US military experience through military service or a military spouse/domestic partner

Compensation: USAA offers a competitive salary range of $59,070.00 - $112,920.00, based on experience and market data. Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance.
