Position Overview

This role is designed for a professional with extensive experience in project management, particularly in the realm of Electronic Health Records (EHR). The position is remote, allowing candidates from across the United States to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the execution of various projects, ensuring that all aspects are planned, budgeted, and documented effectively.
  • Develop comprehensive project documentation, including business case workbooks, project charters, and schedules.
  • Coordinate requirements gathering, reporting, planning, and evaluation of project management implementation.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and vendors, ensuring clear communication and information flow.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • A minimum of 9 years of experience managing multiple projects, particularly in implementing EHR applications across large organizations.
  • Proficient in database management systems such as InterSystems Caché, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Experience with project management tools including MS Project, Excel, Word, Visio, and Jira.
  • Strong analytical skills to research, gather, and analyze data to devise effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to map business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Proven experience in building and maintaining relationships with project sponsors, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to summarize and escalate issues effectively.
  • Experience in managing application migration and data mapping efforts.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SaaS model EHR systems and cloud data migrations.
  • Familiarity with federal and state processes related to project documentation.
  • PMP Certification is a plus.
