Peachtree Detox is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, administering medications, taking vital signs, and assessing medical needs.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with daily client vital signs and assessments, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Administer medications and treatments as per provider protocol, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Support client admissions and discharges, maintaining a smooth and efficient process.
- Record client observations and report to the medical team as needed, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Engage with clients in a compassionate and non-judgmental manner, promoting a positive and supportive environment.
- Maintain a safe and sanitary environment, adhering to facility policies and procedures.
- Participate in staff trainings and meetings, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
- Communicate effectively with the pharmacy and other healthcare professionals, ensuring seamless coordination of care.
- Complete client nursing admissions, including intake surveys, blood draws, TB testing, and GeneSight swabbing, as required.
- Adhere to policies and procedures regarding client information protection, including confidentiality and HIPAA guidelines.
- Current unrestricted licensure in GA or TN as a Registered Nurse.
- Associate's degree in Nursing.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Experience working with chemically dependent and psychiatric populations a plus.
