As a Principal Engineer, you will be at the forefront of research and development in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning. In this director-level role, you will be a key player in the Security AI team, responsible for guiding the ideation, design, development, and testing of new security products. The ideal candidate will excel in communication, effectively conveying intricate solutions to diverse audiences, including customers, executives, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and strategic vision for our AI and Data Science initiatives.
  • Design and develop AI-based solutions, assessing technical feasibility and estimating associated risks.
  • Lead the architecture and development of prototypes and MVPs, ensuring they are innovative, maintainable, and scalable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software developers, and product managers, to achieve strategic goals.
  • Mentor and support a team of AI engineers and data scientists, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and ML, evaluating their potential impact on our offerings.
  • Champion standard practices in coding, testing, documentation, and maintainability.
  • Ensure ethical AI practices, focusing on fairness, privacy, security, and transparency.
  • Articulate complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholders and represent the company at industry events.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements
  • At least 15 years of experience in Software Engineering, including roles as Director, CTO, or Chief Architect in AI/ML solutions across various industries.
  • A minimum of 7 years of proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++, with familiarity in AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing, training, and deploying AI models in practical applications, including machine learning algorithms and deep learning architectures.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and ML deployment strategies.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and generative AI techniques.
  • Proven track record in developing AI-based products or systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience in building DataOps/MLOps workflows and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
