We are seeking a highly skilled Master Jeweler to join our team of experts in precision craftsmanship. As a key member of our jewelry repair department, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results in repairing, resizing, setting, and maintaining pieces consistent with Shop LC quality standards and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Repair and Restoration: Repair broken clasps, pins, rings, and other jewelry by soldering or replacing broken parts. Restore damaged or broken jewelry, selecting appropriate gems, cleaning, and polishing while maintaining quick turn-around times.
- Jewelry Design and Creation: Reshape and restyle aged jewelry, following designs or instructions, using hand tools and machines such as jeweler's lathe and drill. Cut and shape precious metals into jewelry pieces using cutting and carving tools.
- Maintenance and Supply: Order and maintain jewelry supply necessary in a jewelry workshop. Ensure all safety-related procedures are followed to reduce the risk of accidents.
- Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience as a Bench Jeweler.
- Certification: JA Certified Bench Jeweler (CBJ).
- Skill Set: Gemstone and diamond setting skills required. In-depth knowledge about various types of gemstones and diamonds is essential.
