We are seeking a visionary academic physician to lead our esteemed Division of Infectious Diseases at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. As Chief, you will be responsible for advancing the mission of excellence in clinical care, education, research, and community engagement.
About the DivisionThe UCLA Division of Infectious Diseases is a renowned program with a distinguished cadre of 40 faculty members. Our comprehensive clinical care and research programs focus on general infectious diseases, infections in immunocompromised hosts, and HIV medicine. We provide state-of-the-art medical care, conduct clinical trials, and fund research across the translational science spectrum.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Division of Infectious Diseases in advancing clinical care, education, research, and community engagement
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve the division's vision and goals
- Collaborate with clinical, academic, and administrative leaders to advance the mission of excellence
- Foster a culture of inclusivity, humanism, and respect for diversity
- Recruit and mentor talented faculty and staff to drive innovation and excellence
