Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team at South Shore Health in Kingston, MA. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in clinical practice, with at least two years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting thorough medical histories, assessing diagnoses, and writing medical orders and prescriptions.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose patients' conditions, develop treatment plans, and provide follow-up care.
  • Conduct medical histories, physical examinations, and order diagnostic tests as necessary.
  • Write medical orders and prescriptions, including medication and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited Advanced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner training program.
  • Current licensure and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Massachusetts.
  • BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Successful completion of the SSH Credentialing process.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$150,000, depending on experience. The role includes a range of benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.

Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, working Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, with 12 weekend shifts per year and one holiday shift per year. Weekend shifts in urgent care are included in the base salary.
