SURFACE INSTALLATION SPECIALIST

The ideal candidate will take charge of removing existing surfaces, installing new solid surfaces, and aiding in the fabrication of both natural and synthetic materials utilizing various tools and machinery.

The Surface Installation Specialist must possess the physical capability to lift and transport heavy materials, accurately measure and interpret dimensions, perform carpentry tasks, and collaborate effectively within a team setting.

Attention to detail is crucial, along with reliable daily transportation and a valid driver's license. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential for this role.

As this position involves installations at client locations, the selected candidate will be required to travel within the surrounding regions. Typically, most assignments are located within a 50-mile radius of our main facility. All personnel are based at our primary site, with daily travel to installation locations expected.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install granite, marble, quartz, quartzite, and other solid surfaces.
- Operate a range of tools and machinery for part fabrication.
- Conduct basic carpentry to prepare sites for installation and demolition.
- Perform fundamental machining tasks.
- Measure and cut materials with precision.
- Assemble components using various hand and power tools.
- Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints and designs.
- Communicate effectively with clients and other contractors to uphold high-quality standards.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • At least 24 months of experience in carpentry, solid surface installation, and manufacturing.
Candidates should be proficient with various carpentry tools and familiar with the fabrication and installation of diverse solid surfaces. Reliable transportation to and from the main facility is required, along with a valid driver's license or the ability to obtain one promptly. A clean background check and the ability to pass a federal drug test are mandatory. Candidates must also be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
Salary offered - $56,555/year
