About the Cashier Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier to join our team at Total Wine & More. As a Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide top-notch customer service by greeting and engaging with customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the sales floor, stock room, and checkout lanes.
  • Assist with stocking and inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise, and reporting any discrepancies or issues to management.
  • Participate in wine, spirits, and beer training to become familiar with Total Wine & More's products and services.
Requirements:
  • 21 years of age or older
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Previous cash handling or retail experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a positive and engaging attitude
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
