ResponsibilitiesAs an Assistant Property Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Managing collection efforts of current residents, including reporting
- Handling all move-out charges, refunding of security deposits, and collections from previous residents
- Acting as the primary point of contact for resident problems and complaints
- Assisting in the training and supervision of on-site employees
You will also be responsible for inspecting grounds, models, and leasing office daily for marketability and curb appeal, coordinating turn process with maintenance staff, and performing other duties as assigned by the Property Manager.
RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years of multifamily management experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with residents, staff, and corporate office
- Ability to multitask and run property operations independently using sound judgment
- Organized, professional, friendly, enthusiastic, and motivating
- Previous experience with property management software is required; Yardi is preferred
- A general understanding of accounting principles and the ability to generate, read, and adhere to a budget
