Job Summary:

As a Stationary Engineer with Adventist Health, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Central Plant equipment. This includes boilers, chillers, emergency generators, medical air compressors, vacuum pumps, water pumps, water softeners, cooling towers, and automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor equipment condition to ensure functioning within operating standards.
  • Schedule and perform minor maintenance to plant equipment.
  • Coordinate work with other internal and external resources.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High School Education/GED or equivalent: Preferred
  • Associate's/Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
  • Experience in a healthcare setting: Preferred
  • State-certified licensure as relevant to trade: Required
  • Valid Driver's License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older: Required
  • L.A. City Engineer: Required in Los Angeles County
  • Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS): Required
  • Prevention and Management of Violent Behavior (PVMB): Required
  • Engineer (LMSC): Required
