This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Clinical Laboratory Scientist to join the Defense Health Agency Civilian Corps in Falls Church, VA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing complex laboratory procedures, providing technical guidance, and ensuring quality assurance oversight in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:
- Performing highly complex laboratory procedures, including testing and analysis of patient specimens.
- Providing technical guidance and quality assurance oversight to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
- Developing and implementing new methods and techniques to improve and expand laboratory services.
- Representing the Medical Laboratory within various installation and functional-area organizations.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with key stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 1 year of experience working as a Clinical Laboratory Specialist.
- US Citizenship.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
