We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our CareNest Health Services Inc team in Waterville, ME. This is a fantastic opportunity to work full-time, 40 hours weekly, with a day/night shift schedule and every other weekend requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor patient vitals and accurately record them in their file
  • Maintain the highest standards of patient cleanliness and comfort
  • Assist with basic medical tasks, including administering medication
  • Ensure confidentiality by updating patient records accordingly
  • Evaluate patient wellbeing and effectively communicate needs to medical staff
  • Clearly explain treatments and procedures to patients and families
  • Change dressings and bandages to promote proper healing
  • Provide safe and efficient transfers of patients using wheelchairs, beds, and gurneys

Requirements:

  • Active CPR/BLS certification
  • Current Covid Card
  • Valid LPN State License in ME
  • Up-to-date VR credentials
