Job SummaryThis position requires a registered diagnostic cardiac sonographer or registered cardiac sonographer with a strong foundation in diagnostic echocardiography techniques. You will be responsible for prioritizing patient flow, organizing imaging protocols, and maintaining a positive rapport with colleagues and medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Obtain diagnostic cardiac ultrasound images in three modes: M mode, color flow Doppler, and two-dimensional mode
- Assist physicians with obtaining images during transesophageal echocardiograms
- Prioritize and organize patient flow to ensure efficient use of time
- Maintain a positive rapport with colleagues, other departments, and medical staff
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification within one year of employment
- Graduate of an approved or accredited school of diagnostic cardiac sonography or completion of a Cardiac credentialing International program
