Established in Central New Jersey, our academy has successfully educated over a thousand students in the local community since its inception. Flexible Scheduling:

  • Work hours available Monday to Friday from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM, and Saturdays from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM.
  • Instructors can select their preferred working days.
  • Opportunities for private lesson instruction are also available.

Position Summary

This part-time, on-site role in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, involves teaching Chinese at Koo Chinese Academy. The Mandarin Language Instructor will be responsible for developing and implementing lesson plans that facilitate students' abilities to read, write, speak, and comprehend the Chinese language. Additionally, the instructor will evaluate student assignments, monitor academic progress, and maintain communication with students and their families.

  • Proficiency in Mandarin
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience teaching the Chinese language in an educational environment
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively
  • Experience engaging with students from diverse backgrounds and age groups
