Job Title: Senior Microbiologist

Central Admixture Pharmacy Services, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Senior Microbiologist to join our team. As a key member of our Quality Control Microbiology team, you will be responsible for leading the microbiological testing and special projects to support our pharmacies.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, coordinate, and organize the overall activities of the Microbiological Laboratory to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Supervise test operations for Sterility Testing, Bacterial Endotoxin Test, Microbiological Identification Sections, and handling of laboratory results.
  • Ensure that necessary microbiological tests are performed according to test specifications, methods, and working instructions to ensure timely release of pharmaceutical products and medical devices.
  • Prepare and update GMP/ISO procedures in the area of responsibility.
  • Participate in projects, task forces, and internal and external audits.
  • Support microbiological tasks for process validation and train and develop the education standard of responsible persons.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven leadership, educational training, and supervisory experience.
  • cGMP experience/training required, Aseptic processing training/experience required.
