Key Responsibilities
The staff nurse is responsible for delivering nursing care to patients across all age groups, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role operates within the established policies and procedures of the organization, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is tasked with upholding practice standards and coordinating patient care activities among all assigned personnel to ensure the delivery of quality nursing care.
Qualifications
Minimum Education Required:
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Minimum Experience Required
New graduates of a nursing program are eligible.
Minimum Licensure/Certification Required by Law
Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Georgia or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification is mandatory.
Additional Qualifications
Advanced certification in the specialty field, if applicable. A Bachelor's degree is preferred. Nursing experience in a hospital setting is advantageous.
