We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Pactiv Evergreen - North America. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on our production equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on production equipment, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts as needed.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment-related processing issues, using computer-based inventory systems to locate spare parts.
- Assist maintenance and production staff as needed, and may assist in the training of other employees.
- Perform quality work within reasonable time standards set forth by management, and adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
- Be flexible with schedule as needed, and ensure areas of responsibility are safe, clean, and tidy.
- High school diploma or equivalent; preferred associate's degree.
- 3+ years of technician experience within the plastics industry.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills, including mechanical, electrical, and PLC programming.
- Strong customer service, interpersonal, oral communication, written communication, teamwork, judgment, motivation, planning, organizing, professionalism, quality, quantity, safety, adaptability, attendance, punctuality, dependability, initiative, and innovation skills.
- Must have own tools and be able to use them safely and effectively.
- PLC troubleshooting skills.
- Mechanical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is $36.33 per hour, and includes a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) plan with a 6% company match.
