We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our healthcare team. As an LPN, you will provide quality care to patients and families, promoting health and preventing disease under the direction of a registered nurse or physician.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general nursing care in accordance with nursing practice standards, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Assist with the preparation of equipment and support the physician/clinical provider during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
- Collect assessment data, prepare patients for examination, and document clinical information on patient records.
- Order diagnostic tests as directed by a registered nurse or physician/clinical provider and gather diagnostic test results prior to physician/clinical provider assessment.
- Schedule procedures and obtain authorizations as necessary.
- May administer injections or medication, collect blood, tissue, or other laboratory specimens, and prepare them for testing.
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
- Current state licensure as an LPN.
- CPR certification.
- Preferred qualifications include 1 year of healthcare experience, state-approved IV course certification, knowledge of OASIS documentation and assessment process, and PALS or ACLS certification.
