Chemical Cleaning Technician Job Description

USA DeBusk, LLC is a leading provider of mechanical and industrial cleaning services, specializing in the downstream energy market. We offer a wide range of maintenance and turnaround services, including hydro blasting, hydro cutting, and chemical cleaning.

Job Summary

The Chemical Cleaning Technician will perform a variety of physical activities that require strength and flexibility, including handling, positioning, and manipulating equipment and materials. The successful candidate will be able to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, and heavy industrial settings.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and set up cleaning equipment, including low-pressure, high-volume pumps and circulators, in accordance with operational guidelines and safety procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including personal protective gear.
  • Install, fit, repair valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets, and other external and internal equipment.
  • Assist in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, chemical circulators, and the general work area prior to starting any job.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • General labor experience is a plus.
  • Experience in chemical cleaning chemistry is a plus.
  • Must be able to travel for extended periods of time.
  • Valid driver's license or identification card.
  • CDL (Class A preferred).
  • Ability to work for extended periods of time within a confined space, in extreme temperature environments, and at high elevation.
  • Ability to perform duties in accordance with training and standard operating procedures.
  • Ability to understand and follow specific procedures and directions.
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle up to 50lbs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Physically capable of performing all duties and responsibilities assigned.
  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Physically capable to stand and/or walk continuously for long periods of time if necessary.
  • Physically capable to climb, balance, bend/stoop, and kneel continuously.
