Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing and delivering top-notch healthcare education as the Program Director for our Occupational Therapy program. This role requires demonstrated leadership skills, strategic planning, and effective communication to facilitate the achievement of program goals and expected outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum content, design, and evaluation to ensure alignment with industry standards and best practices.
  • Oversee program faculty performance, professional development, and other activities, including scholarship, service, and teaching.
  • Provide ongoing communication with constituents, including students, program faculty, advisory committee members, and the public.
  • Ensure regular evaluation of program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum earned post-professional doctoral degree (OTD minimum, PhD, ScD, EdD preferred).
  • Current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Utah.
  • A minimum of eight (8) years of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of full-time academic appointment with teaching responsibilities at the postbaccalaureate level.
  • Clinical and teaching experience in pediatrics.
