Job Overview

A&A Safety, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. As an Accounting Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial information, working closely with our accounting team to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the classification of transactions in the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, and job cost
  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and perform analytical reviews to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Prepare and review reconciliations of various general ledger accounts, ensuring prompt and accurate resolution of discrepancies
  • Support management with recurring and ad hoc analyses, providing insights to inform business decisions
  • Research and resolve financial transaction queries from management, ensuring timely and accurate resolution
  • Provide leadership during company audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant accounting experience, with a strong background in GAAP and financial analysis
  • Proficiency in enterprise resource planning systems and financial software
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex financial issues
