Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Cancer Rehab Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care to patients with actual or potential health problems.

In this part-time day position, you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to implement physical therapy programs that prevent disability and restore function to patients. Your clinical judgment skills will be essential in evaluating patient needs and developing personalized treatment plans.

  • You will deliver quality treatment programs to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric, in compliance with competency checklists.
  • Your responsibilities will include evaluating patient physical status, functional abilities, and age-specific needs to determine their current level of functioning.
  • You will develop and implement treatment plans that involve the patient, family, and social support systems, identifying interventions to reach reasonable goals and coordinating treatment options.

A successful candidate for this role will have a graduate degree in physical therapy and recent experience working with cancer patients. You will need to be proficient in managing patients based on established departmental guidelines and protocols, as well as maintaining professional competency by attending continuing education applicable to the specific patient population treated.
