About the RoleThis is a full-time position located at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Our CRNAs work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures, including cardiac, vascular, neurosurgery, pediatrics, and obstetrics.
Responsibilities- Administer general, regional, and monitored anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgical, obstetric, and diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to develop and implement anesthesia plans.
- Provide one-on-one anesthesia instruction for nurse anesthesia programs.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices in anesthesia care.
- Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
- Master's of Science in Nursing.
- Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain).
- BCLS Certification.
- ACLS Certification.
