Clinical Response Clinician

CarePlus New Jersey is a leader in mental health and integrated care in Northern New Jersey. We are seeking a Clinical Response Clinician to join our team.

Job Summary

The Clinical Response Team (CRT) plays a crucial role in improving client outcomes by ensuring that behavioral health needs are met promptly and effectively. As a Clinical Response Clinician, you will provide direct clinical therapy services, including individual and group counseling, and crisis intervention.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct clinical therapy services in a face-to-face setting or via telehealth
  • Provide individual and group counseling, and conduct individual therapy sessions
  • Identify and diagnose psychological conditions based on assessments and patient interviews
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clients' needs and goals
  • Utilize various therapeutic approaches, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy
  • Provide immediate support and intervention for clients experiencing mental health emergencies
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work or other behavioral health discipline from an accredited college or university
  • Provisional license to practice social work or counseling (LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC)
  • Documented knowledge of one year minimum experience in behavioral health and SUD settings
  • Valid driver's license and insurability by agency's automobile insurance
