Position Overview

Role Summary

Medline, a leader in the advanced wound and skin care industry, is seeking a dedicated professional to join our Skin and Wound Care sales team. This role focuses on a comprehensive range of skin and wound care products, including dressings, support surfaces, and post-operative solutions. The primary interactions for this position involve engaging with nursing directors, wound care specialists, operating room staff, physicians, and other key stakeholders in settings where wound and skin care products are utilized. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering enduring relationships. This position reports directly to the Division Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engaging with various clinical and non-clinical decision-makers in healthcare facilities within the designated territory;
  • Delivering compelling sales presentations to diverse decision-makers;
  • Collaborating with the Medline sales team to enhance targeted accounts;
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships;
  • Developing connections with key influencers in the industry;
  • Managing existing accounts while introducing new product offerings;
  • Serving as a Product Specialist, working alongside multiple sales representatives;
  • Communicating product options to clinicians and facilitating product evaluations, trials, and training sessions;
  • Providing timely insights and analysis regarding business conditions within accounts.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of experience in quota-driven sales, showcasing a background in cold calling and full-cycle sales experience OR at least 5 years of similar sales experience;
Relevant Experience:
  • 2 to 5 years of experience in medical sales, particularly in advanced wound care or successful business-to-business outside sales;
  • Comfortable operating in clinical environments;
  • Proven track record of sales growth and meeting quotas;
  • Willingness and ability to learn and present various product lines;
  • Exceptional communication and organizational abilities;
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Excel, Word, and Outlook;
  • Due to the nature of this outside sales role, the ability to drive and travel extensively is essential.
