Job Overview

Agape Comfort Care Solutions is seeking skilled professionals to provide high-quality care to pediatric clients with special needs. As a Pediatric Care Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering personalized care in a home setting, collaborating with families and caregivers, and ensuring the well-being and comfort of the children in your care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to children with a range of medical and developmental needs, following individualized care plans.
  • Assist with basic assessments of the child's health, development, and needs, reporting changes or concerns to the supervisory nurse or care coordinator.
  • Support children with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, feeding, and mobility support, while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Collaborate with care teams to ensure the care provided aligns with the child's goals and care plan.
  • Provide specialized care to children with conditions such as autism spectrum disorder, cerebral palsy, and down syndrome.
  • Offer guidance and support to families, ensuring they feel confident and informed about the child's care.
  • Maintain accurate records of the child's care, daily activities, and any changes in their condition.

Requirements:

  • Active and unrestricted LPN license in Georgia, or certification as a CNA or PCA with experience working with pediatric clients.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children, preferably with pediatric patients or children with special needs.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and caregiving skills.
  • Familiarity with common childhood disabilities and conditions.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
