Job Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist/HR Advisor plays a crucial role in managing the complete recruitment process for the organization. This includes everything from initial candidate sourcing and screening to successful placement and onboarding. Additionally, the role encompasses various HR Generalist responsibilities such as employee relations, benefits management, and HRIS oversight.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday; 9 AM - 5 PM
Weekly Hours: 37.5
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Compensation: $26.50 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain effective recruitment channels.
- Represent the organization at job fairs and campus recruitment events.
- Utilize social media and other recruitment platforms to advertise job openings.
- Create engaging recruitment materials such as flyers and brochures to attract candidates.
- Collaborate with management to identify position requirements and develop tailored recruitment strategies.
- Ensure timely and cost-effective fulfillment of staffing needs.
- Conduct interviews, assessments, and reference checks for all applicants.
- Manage job requisitions and application processes through the Taleo system.
- Prepare necessary documentation for new hires, including background checks and credential verification.
- Generate reports using Taleo and Oracle systems.
- Facilitate orientation sessions for new employees and provide training on HR topics as needed.
- Offer guidance to staff and supervisors regarding benefits, policies, and procedures.
- Support internal transfers and communicate relevant information to management.
- Promote positive employee relations through active involvement in transfers, promotions, and conflict resolution.
- Assist in the administration of the Wage and Salary Program, including determining starting salaries and promotional increases.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field of Human Resources.
- At least two years of experience in full-cycle recruitment and HR generalist functions.
- Familiarity with Taleo is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and HRIS systems.
- PHR and/or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.
