About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Oncology LPN Nurse Extern PRN to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and support our registered nurses in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver direct, evidence-based care to patients as directed by the physician or RN.
  • Assist with procedures, monitoring, or other functions as directed.
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Serve as a resource to department staff, students, and volunteers to help deliver quality patient care.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in school to obtain LPN with Fundamentals and some clinicals completed.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Vocational School Graduate.
